ClubMR2 is a respected and well known automobile club in the Philippines. We take great pride and responsibility in approving membership applications. We exert great effort in filtering aspiring members so we can be sure there will be no "User" and abusive type of members or members with negative agenda. These processes will also make sure that this Club will be active for many future generations. This is the first and only recognized MR2, or mid-ship (mid-engine) club in the Philippines for that matter, so maintaining a clean roster is important to make sure that this club will last. Like many have said before, it is the members that make the club, not anything else.

Membership Qualifications:
(Membership application forms will be given upon request)

1. An aspiring member must have an MR2 or MR-S.

2. Aspiring members must attain 5 points, and must participate in one funrun regardless of destination.

(1 point is given for one assembly attended. 4 straight attendances will count as 5)
( during this period, an aspiring member is only allowed 2 consecutive absences un less a valid reason for absence is presented )
(aspiring members may not participate in a funrun right away, but membership status will be pending unless this is accomplished)

3. After an aspiring member has completed a the required number of attendance and has joined one of our funruns, a membership assesment will then take place. A panel of members (anonymous) will vote on whether an aspiring member will be inducted into our roster.
(results of this assesment will be based on a majority vote of no less than 70%)

4. After an aspiring member has completed all requirements and has been approved by the board, he/she will now have to pay our membership fee

Once all these steps are completed, he/she will now be an official member, and his/her name will appear on our Official Members List. The new member will now be given only one club decal which he/she must immediately install. failure to do this will result in immediate removal from our roster for an indefinite period of time. Also, the reproduction or mis-use of our club sticker will also result in removal from the club.

As we have stated above, this Club reserves the right to remove any member from our members list if he/she has commited any violation against the club or a majority of it's members

Members will be removed from the roster if:
(Reasons stated below have been generalized to shorten the list of possible violations)

1. He/she commits any violation against the club or a majority of it's members
(do not take advantage or exploit our club in any way, may it be in business or whatever reason "wag niyo kami pagkakitaan o i-raket kung palpak ang trabaho at di ninyo pananagutan o tatakbuhan niyo kami, wag niyo kami lokohin")

2. Improper use of the Club's name and reputation for any activity or representation
(car shows or anything like that, false representations, illegal races)

3. If the membership committee or the majority of members, feels that the member is not as active, responsible or commited to this club
( members must give a valid reason for absences)

Note: fighting amongst members will be dealt with accordingly

These are the qualifications for membership status. We maybe strict, but you must understand that these rules were agreed upon by the majority of this Club's members.

Once you become an Official Club MR2 Member, you will see, feel and experience its unique and amazing persona. Not everyone is able to qualify for membership.
